Los Gatos is a terrific place to live and work. Linda and I have raised our sons, Stephen and Brian, in Los Gatos. I, too, was fortunate to be raised here. I attended Louise Van Meter Elementary School, Fisher Junior High School and Los Gatos High School. Even my mother was raised in Los Gatos and graduated from Los Gatos High School. My family has almost 100 years of history in Los Gatos. My grandfather was on the Planning Commission in the 1950's and was on the Town Council and was Mayor in the 1960's. My grandmother opened her home for "Tulip Tours" to raise money for the Los Gatos Museum and other local charities. One of my hopes is that I will get to see my grandchildren grow up here, too. Los Gatos is special and I will fight to keep it that way.
I have created this web site so that those in the community of Los Gatos can get to know me. I am a life-long resident of Los Gatos and I have been involved in working toward the betterment of our community for my entire life - now serving on the Town Council. Before that, I served on The Planning Commission, the General Plan Committee, the Santa Clara County Roads Commission and the Los Gatos Commercial Specific Plan Committee. I was also a Reserve Police Officer in Los Gatos, and a soccer and Little League coach and an eight year Scout Leader and Treasurer. Through my service on the Los Gatos Town Council, I am committed to a Focus on the Future that will ensure that future residents of Los Gatos enjoy the same quality of life my family and I have enjoyed.
